Matured for nine years in a selection of ex-bourbon barrels, ex-sherry butts, ex-Bordeaux wine casks, and Port Pipes, it boasts a wealth of complex, vibrant flavour, brimming with exotic fruits, and a characteristic silky smooth texture.
Nose:Â Candied tropical fruits, juicy melon, and zesty lime, with nutty oak and spiced orchard fruits in tow.
Palate:Â Superbly soft, with delicate stone fruits balancing woody spice and whisps of cinnamon. Buttery vanilla joins, with gentle zest and toasty baked almonds.
Finish:Â A glorious harmony of pineapple and baked apples, peppercorns, and rich oak.
The Spot Whiskies originated in the 1800s in Dublin and since then, Mitchell & Sons and this release has been produce to celebrate the 135th Anniversary of the Mitchell family. This triple distilled single pot still whiskey has been matured in a combination of bourbon barrels, sherry butts, Bordeaux wine casks & port pipes before being bottled at a strength of 51.4% abv.
