From Vallejo, CA’s Savage and Cooke, located on historic Mare Island, Guero is a line of well-aged, uncut whiskies sourced from around the country. For this 17 year bottling, the bourbon comes from Tennessee’s Cascade Hollow Distillery (George Dickel), aging partially there and then further at Savage and Cooke. Only 900 cases produced. Lush and full-bodied with a boat load of caramel, exotic baking spices and rich vanilla from the long time in barrel.
