Old Forester The 117 Series 1910 Extra Old Whisky 375ml

Old Forester’s latest release, the 117 Series 1910 Extra Old Kentucky Straight Bourbon Whisky, hit the market in February 2022. This exceptional whiskey draws inspiration from the popular fan-favorite, 1910 Old Fine Whisky, but takes things up a notch with an extra 18 months of aging. For this third edition of the 117 Series, the Old Forester 1910 Fine Whisky is aged for a minimum of 4 years in charred oak barrels, and then transferred to secondary barrels that are double-charred, where it is left to mature for an additional 18 months. The result is an “extra old” whiskey with a unique and complex flavor profile. With an extremely limited release, the 117 Series 1910 Extra Old Fine Whisky is composed of a mash bill containing 72% corn, 18% rye, and 10% malted barley, and is bottled at a finished barrel strength of 46.5% ABV.
