Dos Artes Tequila Reposado mellows as it ages, and adds notes of oak and vanilla to the agave palate. Reposado Tequila adds the oak and vanilla from the time it has spent in barrels, so it is better used in heavier cocktails, although it will perform very well in a Margarita as well.
From the Tequila Trés Mujéres distillery in Amatitán, the Dos Artes line is a small-batch line of Tequila bottled in beautiful, hand-painted ceramic bottles, each bottle taking several hours to produce. The Reposado shows notes of cooked agave, vanilla, butter, and caramel. Enjoy on it’s own or in a lush margarita or paloma.
